Ronald Freeland Law

Ronald Freeland Law was born on November 29, 1948 in Houston, Texas to William Law and Dolores Freeland. After graduating from high school, he joined the United States Navy and was discharged in May of 1969. He became an electrician and was a member of several unions. They were responsible for installations in several California state facilities such as schools, prisons, and the Bay Area Rapid Transit (BART). Ron loved motorcycles and raced dirt bikes as a young man and rebuilt many bikes over the years. He always looked forward to attending Sturgis and collected many pins over the years. Ron also liked to work out and made sure his body was in great shape. In 2008 after several medical procedures, he became more faithful in prayer and reconnected with God. He will be remembered for his great sense of humor. Ron loved his family, especially his granddaughters. Ron passed away at his home in Ledbetter the morning of Monday, February 7, 2022. He is preceded in death by his parents; the mother of his daughter, Wendy Farrell, and several sisters. Ron is survived by his daughter, Melissa & John Blencowe of California; three granddaughters, Erin & Zack Lee of California, Sara Blencowe of California, and Emma Blencowe of California, and one great grandson, Declan Lee of California.
