Funeral services for Jessie Mae Stork, 98 of Ledbetter, Texas, are scheduled for 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, June 2, 2021 at Phillips and Luckey Funeral Home in Giddings with Rev. John Waak officiating. A graveside service will follow at 2:00 p.m. at Rosewood Memorial Park in Humble, Texas. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 1, 2021 from 1:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and on Wednesday, June 2, 2021 from 7:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. at Phillips and Luckey Funeral Home in Giddings. Jessie Mae (Boudreaux) Hall Stork was born on October 19, 1922 in Franklin, Louisiana, the daughter of Claude & Louise (Boudin) Boudreaux. She married Alvin Cecil Hall in 1941. She worked as the school cafeteria manager for the East Houston I.S.D., which is now North Forest I.S.D. Jessie Mae also was a hairdresser and operated her own beauty shop for many years. She was a longtime Girl Scout leader and a member of Martin Luther Lutheran Church in Giddings. Jessie Mae passed away on Sunday, May 30, 2021 at Oakland Manor Nursing Center in Giddings. She was preceded in death by her parents, Claude & Louise Boudreaux; her husband, Alvin Hall; her daughter, Oneida Lancaster, and her sister, Anna McWhorter. Jessie Mae is survived by her four children, Ronnie Hall & his wife, Carolyn of New Caney, Janet Simmang & her husband, Steve of Giddings, Timothy Hall of Ledbetter, and Alvin Hall & his wife, Jill of Houston; seven grandchildren; four great grandchildren; three brothers, C.J. Boudreaux of Houston, Basil Boudreaux of Boston, and Charles Boudreaux & his wife, Connie of New Caney, as well as several nieces and nephews. Memorials may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
