Harold Raymond Houser

Harold Houser was born January 13, 1929 in Scranton, Arkansas to Herbert Houser and Ada (Gilmore) Houser. He attended school in Arkansas and enlisted in the United States Marines on April 3, 1946. Harold was honorably discharged on January 12, 1948. He moved to Baytown, Texas in 1953. He went to work for Eastern States Oil and retired from Hill Oil Company January 1, 1991. He married Ollie Dean Harrison on May 30, 1983. He was preceded by his parents, Herbert and Ada Houser; Sister, Jessie Battabee; Brother, Eugene Houser; Son, William Neely Houser; Daughter, Belinda Schlottman and her husband Kenneth; Grandson, Scott LE Schlottman and four infant siblings. Harold is survived by his wife, Ollie Dean Houser; Brother, Buddy Houser; Daughter, Pamela Scott and husband Ricky; Son, Lamar Harrison; Seven grandchildren,18 great grandchildren and nine great-great grandchildren. He was a lifetime member of the V.F.W. and the American Legion. Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 28, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. with services to follow at 2:00 p.m. at Phillips & Luckey Funeral Home in Rockdale with Military Honors.
