Floyd Anthony "Tony" Whited

August 19, 1962 - June 21, 2022

Floyd Anthony “Tony” Whited was born on August 19, 1962 in Austin, Texas to James and Beulah (Holman) Whited. He was known as a jack-of-all-trades. Tony worked as a stone mason for many years, was known to work on small and large engines, and fixed many items around the house. He also enjoyed being in the outdoors camping and fishing. Tony was able to tell the type of fish and how big it was before it even hit the bank. He always made sure that his family was well fed and was a master in the kitchen and on the barbeque. His family and friends enjoyed sitting on the porch listening to his life stories. Tony loved his grandchildren and looked forward to spending time with them. He always made sure that his family knew that he loved them. Tony passed away the evening of June 21, 2022 at his home in Giddings. He was preceded in death by his wife, Deborah Whited; parents, James & Beulah Whited; two brothers, Fred Whited and David Whited; granddaughter, Natalee Millican, and nephew, Jimmy Whited Jr. Tony is survived by his four daughters, Brandy & MaShaun Hirschler of San Antonio, Chasity & Jason Coldiron of Indiana, Tiffany Whited of Rockdale, and Brandy Hollis of Manor; thirteen grandchildren, Marcus Weakly of Austin, Allison Whited of Rockdale, Ciera Millican of Indiana, Brandon Hirschler of San Antonio, Michael Hirschler of San Antonio, James Whited of Rockdale, Kaiden Whited of Rockdale, Austin Coldiron of Indiana, Levi Ashworth of Bartlett, Amyleigha Hollis of Manor, Danyeal Ashworth of Bartlett, Sedessa De La Cruz of Manor, Kyon Hirschler of San Antonio, and one on the way; siblings, Jimmy & Donna Whited of Iowa, Bobby & Doris Whited of Elgin, Tommy & Brenda Whited of Bastrop, Lisa & Jeff Durrenberger of Giddings, and Denise Whited of Giddings; nieces and nephews, Jenny & Keith Glona of Giddings, Ronald & Sarah Schatte of Red Rock, Kacie & Shannon Greer of Giddings, Luke & Jen Schatte of Giddings; great nieces and nephews, James, Millie, and Anna Schatte, and numerous other nieces, nephews, cousins, and family members.
