Charlie Frank Morgan

Charlie Frank Morgan, age 78 of Rockdale, passed away Monday, June 20, 2022 at his home near Rockdale. He was born January 1, 1944 in Milano to Charlie Ray and Blanche Gertrude (Newman) Morgan. Charlie Frank was a graduate of Milano High School, Class of 1962. While in school, he was an all-around athlete. After graduation, he served in the U.S. Navy on the USS North Hampton form 1962 until 1966. He and Joan Brannon were married June 11, 1965 at First Baptist Church in Rockdale. He worked at Alcoa for 33 years and was a supervisor. Charlie Frank retired June 22, 1999. He is a member of First Baptist Church in Rockdale and a member of the American Legion. He loved to hunt and fish. He is preceded in death by his parents, Charlie in 1974 and Blanche in 1986; his sister, Nelma Blake in 2019 and two nieces, Louise Blakely in 1982 and Debra Hartley in 1978. Surviving is his wife, Joan Morgan of Rockdale; their sons, Michael Morgan and wife Michelle of Milano, Karry Morgan and wife Glenda of Rockdale and Larry Morgan of North Pole, Alaska; 6 grandchildren, Sean Morgan, Kaitlyn Bomer and husband Brandon, Wesley Morgan, Ryann Morgan, Ethan Morgan and Brody Morgan and two great grandchildren, Zachary Morgan and Caroline Bomer. Following their wishes, Charlie Frank will be cremated and there are no services planned.
