Carolyn Levein Pratt

July 13, 1953 - April 27, 2022

Carolyn Levein Jemerson Pratt was born on July 13, 1953 in Washington, DC to Arthur and Bernell (Henderson) Williams Jemmerson. She was one of fifteen children in an extended/blended family. Carolyn accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior in 1980. She was a married homemaker for over two decades and mothered five children. She moved from Virginia to Texas in August of 1999, where she was most at peace outdoors gardening on her property. It was here in Texas where she found her church home and Pastor Sister Annie Scurlock, where she gracefully finished out her earthly journey. Carolyn is preceded in death by her parents, Arthur and Burnell Jemerson, and three siblings, Valerie Jemerson Flamer, Francis Jemerson Hopkins, and Arthur Jemerson Jr. She is survived by her children, Colden (Angela) Pratt Jr. of College Station, Arthur (Sandra) Pratt of Temple, Xavier Pratt of Caldwell, Philip Pratt Sr. of Dime Box, and Carolyn (Andre) Walker of Caldwell; eleven grandchildren, Desiree (John) Tomasi, Jasmine (Michael) Uchendu, Angel Pratt, Colden Pratt III, Jvareus Pratt, JyQuez Webster, Jaylen Middleton, Philip (PJ) Pratt, Nevaeh Pratt, Philip Pratt Walker, and Tierra Pratt Walker; four great grandchildren, Samara Tomasi, Michael Uchendu Jr., Gabriel Uchendu, and Elisha “MJ” Andre Walker; siblings, Brenda Leech Pool, Alfonzo Leech Jr., Alma Yvonne Jemerson Wigfall, Susie Jemerson, Linda (Reginald) Jemerson Vincent, Michael Anderson Sr., Sharee Anderson, Dennis Jemerson, Jacqueline Jemerson Johnson, Steve Jemerson, and Tanya (Gerald) Wright.
